Celebrating the restorative wonder of everyday moments, Layli Atelier creates fine art designed for everyday lives and everyday spaces. We believe art should be an intimate, approachable part of daily life that provides grounding energy, thoughtful design, and quiet sanctuary to every person.

Craft

As a multidisciplinary studio, our work spans photography, painting, and clay, bridging a distinct visual style of modern folk expression and contemporary impressionism. Deeply inspired by global travel, nature, and everyday details, everything we create is a dedication to the slow, intentional art of the handmade.

Location

Currently operating in Charlotte, NC USA, with plans to transition our studio and lives to Andalusia, Spain in 2027.

Behind the studio

This studio represents a wife & husband team. Hi, I’m Meana. I am a multidisciplinary artist in photography and painting. Whitney, my husband, is enjoying the craft of refurbishing furniture.

Layli is meant to be an ongoing journey that showcases a variety of creative expressions across mediums.

We named the studio Layli, a name that had always held deep sentimental value to me and represented a dream and legacy. Atelier means studio or workshop. It felt like the right name for us to call our studio where restoring our creative practice in mid-life was part of a personal healing journey.

Every piece of art is a step in returning to ourselves. Every photograph, painting, and print is meant to bring a little bit of everyday wonder and grounding calm into your space.
