Glasswing Butterfly Wall Art: Copenhagen Conservatory Botanical Photography Print
Bring the ethereal beauty of the glasshouse into your home with this striking botanical photography print.
This original photograph by artist Meana Kasi captures the rare and delicate Glasswing butterfly perched on a vibrant green leaf. Captured within the historic palm house of the Copenhagen Botanical Garden, this piece highlights the unique, transparent wings of the butterfly against a lush, architectural backdrop. As a standout piece in the Layli Atelier collection, it offers a serene, minimalist perspective on nature's most intricate details.
The deep forest greens and the sharp, transparent lines of the butterfly’s wings make this a sophisticated statement piece for a modern gallery wall, a tranquil bedroom, or an office space inspired by high-end botanical design.
Image story:
While visiting the historic conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark, I was lucky enough to spot this Glasswing butterfly among the tropical flora. These creatures are so delicate, so beautiful. Seeing one it felt like discovering a tiny, living piece of stained glass. I wanted to capture the stillness of that moment—the way the light passes through its wings to reveal the textures of the leaf beneath. It’s a reminder of the delicate balance and transparency of nature. Shot digitally in 2019.
