While exploring the hidden trails of Petra on the back of a donkey in 2008, I came across this quiet, beautiful scene. Away from the main tourist paths, I met this young child who was gently holding a small goat. The connection between them, set against the massive, ancient scale of the rose-red cliffs, felt incredibly powerful. I wanted to capture the stillness and the resilience of life in such an ancient place. It’s a snapshot of a moment where time seemed to stand still, preserved through a documentary lens for your walls.
