Image story:
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is the largest Roman Catholic Church in North America, built with Byzantine Revival architecture. Growing up outside DC, I had never been so when some friends suggested a photo tour, I was thrilled to explore the grounds. Like many Catholic churches, there was a lot of beautiful stained glass but this particular quote stood out to me. Shot digitally in 2006.
